Copenhagen turned a jersey launch into an opportunity to shift a negative trend in men's health.Men are reluctant to go to the doctor and every year, that's having fatal consequences. Studies show that despite increased risk for serious illness, lower life expectancy and twice the risk of heart attack than their female counterparts, the doc is the last place men want to be.But there is one place they'll willingly go – the stadium.For the first time ever, the club expanded its medical team and dedicated itself to looking after the fans instead of the players. Because without fans, football is nothing. All fans who agreed to a free health screening were rewarded with a custom print home jersey – a symbol of loyalty and dedication to their team, and their health.With over 757 health screenings performed, and a GP referral rate of 30% – fans with results that put them in the risk zone for future complications and serious health problems – the initiative demonstrated the power of cultural insight and community to win over both minds and hearts.https://vimeo.com/1023264130?share=copy#t=0
