Story Ukraine war fatigue had set in to the UK media, with it bringing a negative effect on donations for frontline focused charities who relied on the coverage to drive interest in their cause. Our brief was simple, raise the issue back up the news agenda. In doing so, raise donations to Supplies To Ukraine, our client and the charity dependent on donations to help on the frontline. So during Eurovision, taking place in Liverpool this year, we had the opportunity to hijack the moment, to drive interest, to drive donations, by giving Ukrainian buskers, who had been driven underground, an opportunity to be heard once more. Sounds of the Underground ran for the 5 days of Eurovision throughout the underground stations of Liverpool and all with an investment of £1.5k for the whole campaign.
