Brief	BruZelle is an organisation that collects sanitary towels and delivers them free of charge and discreetly to those who can’t afford them.Translation: Newspaper as a sanitary towel. Or crumpled up toilet paper, a double-folded handkerchief or an extra pair of pants. In Flanders, 1 in 10 girls and women between 12 and 25 sometimes do not have enough money to buy sanitary towels or tampons. For girls living in poverty, this even rises to 1 in 2. The mental impact of this is huge. It causes stress, fear of leaks and affects self-esteem. That is why BruZelle is fighting against menstrual poverty.
