Story | Our campaign captures the unique intensity of Midway Sports baseball title, Slugfest. We portray the intense in-the-moment action of a blistering fast balll as it hurtles toward the mound streaking fire. At the same time a batter, also on fire, swings violently at the pitch. |
Philosophy | We leveraged the distinctive style of game play and visually arresting "on fire" elements to create an ad that communicated the unique entertainment experience of Slugfest. |
Problem | The challenge was to communicate the key differentiating factor of Midway's top selling sports title, the unique and extreme style of game play. We also had to strategically postion this title as a "must-have" game in the crowded sports category. |
