Story | When New Jersey made online gaming legal, Borgata had the challenge of creating a digital casino experience while standing out from a crowded competitive space. While our competitors treated online gambling as flashy versions of the casino experience and did little to earn trust, we preserved the integrity of the Borgata brand by developing an integrated campaign that reassured users they could experience the thrill of Borgata, anytime and anywhere. Word got out with the help of an expansive 360 campaign. Our digital channels educated and built trust by establishing an emotional connection and retargeting helped retain players. Despite a crowded space and fierce competition, Borgata took the lead for a new stream of revenue. In the first year, we boasted 622 thousand site visits and 48 thousand game downloads.In the first month, we jumped Borgata’s share to 35%, exceeding their original goal of 20%. Now that’s a win. |
