Story | These two films demonstrate what happens when you don’t watch enough TV. In the first, a veteran cop on a stakeout is explaining to his rookie partner that the secret of the waiting game is “focus”. When shots ring out in the house they’re watching, he sits up and radios for backup. Sure enough, two men appear carrying a suspiciously heavy carpet. But the cop decides it’s a false alarm. “Somebody’s getting a carpet beaten.” |
