Philosophy | On the occasion of the national day against school bullying, BURGER KING® continues its commitment with the association Les Papillons and launches a new double awareness campaign signed by Buzzman on social networks and in its restaurants. One year ago, BURGER KING® and the association Les Papillons joined forces for a first campaign against school bullying: #ThankYou2010. Today, the company and the association that fights against child abuse are launching a new and unique campaign to fight against this phenomenon that still affects nearly 1 in 10 children at school. On November 9, the day before the national day against school bullying, users of the BURGER KING® app will receive some rather peculiar notifications: "you're ugly", "you stink", "you are useless". Hateful messages, similar to those received each year by thousands of children who are victims of harassment, to confront its customers with a violence that is still too little known. A final notification will be sent to users and will redirect them to the association's website, allowing them to make donations. With its community of families, the brand is not stopping there and has decided to draw the attention of parents by removing toys from its King Junior menus. The goal? That all parents come and complain to the team members. In return, the children will get their toys back and the parents will receive a flyer with this challenging sentence "If your child was being shaken down at school, would you notice it so easily?". To support its commitment to Les Papillons, BURGER KING® is also committing to donate 100 percent of the profits from every King Junior menu sold on November 10, 2022. You too can support Les Papillons with #BKPAPILLONS and by visiting: qa.burgerking.fr/page/the-butterflies The campaign is visible from November 9 on mobile. It is completed by an in store operation in some BURGER KING® restaurants from November 9th to 11th. A hidden camera of the operation will be broadcast on social networks until November 15. |
