PHNX Jury Interview 2024

Why did you think it was important to join the PHNX jury this year?
Being part of the PHNX jury this year is a way for me to contribute to the local and global advertising industry for its growth and decentralization. I am convinced that adding different points of view, from different networks, agencies, countries and idiosyncrasies, makes the evaluation more homogeneous and the best ideas can be identified in the most objective way possible.
What do you think of our hybrid jury, featuring creatives but also strategists, clients and people from all corners of the industry?
I think it's vital. Creativity is not a solo job of the creative team, but rather of agencies that think creatively and is made up of different specialties.
What do you think of the idea of free entry until the shortlist stage?
It is a very important way to democratize festivals and attract more agencies that will value PHNX as a window to show their work and learn from the best creativity in the world.
How would you define the perfect PHNX Awards winner?
It must be having a world class idea, with brilliant execution.
What is having the biggest impact on creative trends at the moment?
I see a very marked trend in the use of new technologies (AI) as a tool for creativity. I don't see it as bad, but I would love for us not to forget good stories and a good joke, for example.
