Shoji graduated at the top of his class from Kanazawa College of Art's Visual Design Department and joined DAIKO Advertising Inc. in 2001.
He handled various advertising ideas and communication development, including projects for home appliances, games, TV stations, confectionery, and food & beverages.
Developing his own style of media/method-neutral creative thinking, Shoji was promoted to Creative Director in 2012.
In 2017, Shoji moved to McCANN Healthcare worldwide and engaged in projects for Pharma and Healthcare clients.
And in 2020, he was hired by Dentsu Digital Inc. (former Isobar Japan) and joined as an Executive Creative Director to boost their creative firepower.
Shoji has an impressive record of both domestic and international award wins from Cannes Lions, The One Show, London International Awards, AdFest, MAD STARS, Cresta, Spikes Asia, among many others.
In addition to his client work, he has served as a lecturer for creative seminars, authored articles, and acted as a jury for various international advertising awards on multiple occasions.
