On a barren island, a curious creature discovers a mysterious object floating towards the shore one day. Placing it on its island, it feels a surge of joy, but soon realizes how dull the island truly is compared to neighboring islands. Eager to be special like them, it starts to collect more objects and decorate the island. As its obsession grows, the situation starts to spiral out of control.

This animation explores the themes of blinded desire and a sense of inferiority. Nowadays, people frequently showcase their lives through social media while constantly comparing themselves to others, which often results in depression and vanity.
Through a story that shows the downfall of a character who got hyper-fixated on becoming like everyone else without reflecting on oneself, this animation highlights and warns the danger of mindlessly imitating others which is pervasive in modern society.
This project has won IDA awards and has been screened at several animation festivals, such as the Woodstock Film Festival and Sweaty Eyeballs Animation Festival.
