He's been a newspaper reporter, speechwriter, public relations counsel, account director and for the last 10 years, Mullen creative director. With over 100 awards for creative excellence and a portfolio of brand-building campaigns for such clients as Nextel, BankBoston, Reebok, Smartfood, Veryfine, Money, and Digital Equipment Corporation, Edward today oversees the agency's integrated communications efforts and the process that helps ensure client marketing unites everything from advertising to design/collateral, direct marketing, and interactive. A tireless volunteer, he has contributed thousands of hours and countless ideas to organizations that include the AIDS Action Committee, the World Society for the Protection of Animals, The Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund, and the Advertising Club of Greater Boston, where for many years he was a popular instructor of the club's Creative Concepts course. The latter inspired the Web's first virtual Creative Concepts course still taught on this site. If he has any free time, he can surely be found on the golf course attempting to break par (being reminded he should keep his day job). If it rains, you'll find him in his favorite Cambridge movie house, at one of Boston's local theatre productions, or reading in his vast home library, where despite his love for advertising, the TV set is hidden behind a custom-built bookcase.
