Who created the Big Fig Newton and Trix Rabbit? MARC USA Senior Vice President and Executive Creative Director Tony Jaffe is the force behind these famous campaigns and many more. Tony began his advertising career in the mailroom of Doyle Dane Bernbach. His meteoric rise in the business included stints at J. Walter Thompson, Dancer Fitzgerald and Campbell Mithun Esty. Tony joined MARC USA from Della Femina McNamee in 1990. Currently, he oversees creative on all of MARC USA accounts. His enthusiasm and humor inspire creativity throughout the agency, and his work has earned him every major creative award, including Cannes Gold Lion, CLIOs, Andys, ADDYs and an International Radio and TV Gold Medal.
Tony is a member of the American Society of Composers and Publishers (ASCAP) and the Screen Actors Guild (SAG). His musical experience ranges from penning commercial lyrics for General Mills and Nabisco products to songwriting for recording artists such as Luther Vandross, David Sanborn and Astrid Gilberto.
