Robin began his career in advertising in an unusual way. Whilst an undergraduate at Cambridge, he set up Britain?s first student advertising agency.After three years as a copywriter at Collett Dickinson Pearce and Partners and ten as Creative Director at Richard Cope and Partners, in 1979 he helped start Wight Collins Rutherford Scott.As Chairman of the agency Robin devotes his boundless energy and abilities to all of its interests. He is also a renowned spokesperson for the industry as a whole and in 1997 was appointed Chariman of Arts and Business which helps persuade British businesses to invest £140m a year into support for the arts. In the 2000 Birthday Honours Robin was awarded a CVO for his services to the Duke of Edinburgh Award for Business.
