Prenneven started his advertising career with TBWA \ Hunt \ Lascaris in 2002, one of the top creative agencies in the country under the leadership of John Hunt.
Later Prenneven moved to the The Jupiter Drawing Room to head up Radio Production. In a short while he returned to mainstream TV Production and was appointed as an Exco member of The Jupiter Drawing Room management team. During the years that followed he serviced an array of brand, corporate and retail clients.
In 2008 Prenneven took on the role of Production House Producer with Velocity Films. He produced for Anton Visser and Steve Tanchel to name a few directors. As one of the youngest black commercial producers in the country, Prenneven has produced numerous local and international commercials, acquiring a plethora of awards under the Producer title along the way.
During his tenure at Velocity Films he was nominated to serve as an Exco member of the Commercial Producers Association of South Africa for two consecutive years running.
During his advertising career Prenneven has worked with a host of local and international clients such as Nestle, Coca-Cola, Unilever, Discovery, Standard Bank, MTN, Tiger Brands, Nedbank, Reckitt Benckiser, ABSA and Edcon to name but a few.
His extensive advertising background and project management experience in commercials production has translated into a through-the-line operations offering for clients seeking traditional and alternative-media advertising content.
In 2012 Prenneven partnered with Adrian Miller to co-found +27 Advertising, an independent South African agency.
