In 1990 Jens moved from his hometown Oslo to London. His plan was to play rock music in the British capital. Three years later he returned to Oslo, newly graduated from London International Film School. Norway had lost a rock musician, but gained a talented filmmaker. Jens has several times attained international attention with his distinct, personal and original short- and feature films. His first feature film “Jonny Vang”(2003) premiered at Berlin International Film Festival and in 2006 he won the ACID award for “The Bothersome Man” under the film festival in Cannes. His latest film, "Sons of Norway", premiered at Toronto Film Festival in 2011. The movie featured John Lydon (Sex Pistols) in a guest appearance. And in December 2014 his new TV-series “Viva Hate” will premiere on SVT (The Swedish Broadcaster).
