Paul's early career spanned advertising, marketing and market research. He worked at a range of blue-chip companies including Unilever, Smith & Nephew and Pedigree Petfoods before switching to advertising.
He worked at BBH, before becoming Head of Planning at Y&R and then SPLintas. He joined The Henley Centre in 1996 and was made Chairman and Chief Executive a year later.
During his time there, he worked with many clients across a wide range of sectors. He helped numerous clients with long term business planning and conducted a wide variety of workshops, tackling all manner of business and communication issues. His work also covered conventional and new media as well as new product development. Paul's experience has made him a popular social and business commentator on TV, radio and in the press.
In July 2001, Paul was named the new Group Chief Executive of Lowe & Partners UK. He will be actively involved in developing the growing number of communications agencies in the UK group.
In October 2002 Paul also took on the role of Chairman of Lowe London.
