Beau never took well to being told what was what. In fact, his first spoken words were:
“But…,” “Why?,” “You’re joking…right?” and “Huh?” Tired of hearing the challenging
nature of these words, his great-grandmother was heard to mutter: “Tfgh jkoy schdd
adphmf tsing!!!” Alas, because she had no teeth, Beau thought she said, “That boy
should go into advertising!!!” and dutifully embarked on his career.
Today, Beau is the Managing Director of the New York office of The Gate Worldwide.
In addition to running the New York office, Beau sits on both the U.S. and International
Board of Directors. As well as the NARB (National Advertising Review Board).
Born in Goteborg, Sweden, raised in Manhattan, schooled in the Midwest (Lake Forest
College), and currently a native of New York City, Beau spends his weekends restoring
an 1840s-era farmhouse.
