Paruj Daorai began his career in advertising as a copywriter at a small agency in Bangkok.
After ten months, he realized that his passion was art directing rather than writing, so he moved to the USA to get his Degree in Graphic Design. He then worked at a local agency in Georgia before moving to Boston where he worked for a design firm.
He later moved home to Bangkok and started the second phase of his career as an art director for D’Arcy (DMB&B). He then became a creative director at Lowe, Bangkok before joining Ogilvy & Mather, Bangkok. Now an executive creative director at Leo Burnett, Bangkok, Paruj has worked on many international brands including Mercedes-Benz, Chevrolet, Saab, MG, Samsung, Pioneer, Sony, Clear, Sunlight, Whisper, Vick, GSK, Coke, Fanta and Jack Daniel’s to name a few.
Along the way he collected awards from Cannes Lions, The Clio Awards, the One Shows, Spikes Asia, Asia Pacific AdFest, London International Awards and Ad Stars.
When he is off work he dedicates all his time to his only son, Platin, and supports his beloved football club, FC Bayern München.
