Laurentius Emmelmann

Born in Leonhard, Austria, Laurentius is recognised for his character work, subtle humour and strong, vivid storytelling.
Laurentius attended the University of Vienna Film School, before studying advertising direction at the German Film Academy Baden-Württemberg. Here he collected various awards, including the International Porsche Prize for Advertising Direction.
He quickly moved on to direct with some of the best production companies in Germany and abroad, and his work has been showcased in Shots, Saatchi Director’s showcase and shortlisted at Cannes CFPE Young Directors Association Awards.
He speaks fluent German and English, and excellent Spanish.
He has directed commercials for international brands such as Mercedes, BMW, Suzuki, Guinness, Nokia, T-Mobile, IKEA, Bosch, LG and more.
