When I was a teenager, I watched a story on 60 Minutes about a 21 year-old advertising prodigy who was taking the industry by storm. He had a ponytail, wore a diamond-studded earring and he was my hero.

Some 20 years later, I’ve worked in ad agencies all around the globe, on almost every type of client you can imagine.

I’ve also won plenty of new business, lots of awards and last year I made my first Super Bowl spot.

Thankfully, I've never had a ponytail.
