Joann Mercado Hicks

Joann assists and oversees the pre- and post-production stages at Windsong Productions LLC to ensure a client’s message is effectively communicated. Her versatility and attention to detail allow her to adapt to many different situations. Joann has a background in public relations, with a degree in mass communication and journalism and certification in special events planning. Joann serves as one of the producers and senior project managers for many of Windsong's productions.

In addition, she provides crisis management and media relations consultative services to the organization, and serves as a liaison to the public and media. Joann has experience overseeing communication campaigns designed to educate and inform residents and consumers about important issues.

Experience includes: Video production (pre / post production management), producing, public relations, writing, copyediting, integrated marketing communications, research, community outreach and public awareness strategies, event planning, client, physician, patient and employee relations, celebrity and client guest-list recruitment, travel and booking, and social media management.
