I'm an award-winning advertising creative who started in Account Management at Chiat/Day and worked my way up to Management Supervisor and New Business Lead at Wieden + Kennedy. After 8 years in the department, I wanted to switch to the creative department. I took a huge pay cut, went to night school and had to present six months of my work to Dan Wieden, knowing in advance that if he didn't approve I would be fired. He kept me on, making the career switch official, and I eventually went from Jr. Copywriter to Chief Creative Officer specializing in changing cultures and helping smaller agencies grow and gain a higher profile.
I've been listed as "Top 50 Creatives To Watch," been a guest lecturer at Duke University, VCU Brand Center and The University of Hartford and have taught copywriting and ad development at Ad House NYC. I have been published in AdWeek, AdAge, Campaign and McSweeney's.
