Philipp “Trübi” Trübiger is a Senior Art Director from Germany. When some used to describe him as “easily distracted” or “never really focussed”, they just didn’t see what he was focussed on – the fascinating details everywhere, the things that have no purpose but to be beautiful and the wonderful world as a whole. Soon he began experimenting, crafting and building himself, mainly with the moving image. So he set out to become a director studying Art & Technology in the Netherlands and Film Production in England.
But when Leo Burnett in Frankfurt showed him the world of advertising, a new variable entered the game: purpose. And since then his path has continued via DDB and Serviceplan to Scholz & Friends in Hamburg. He now uses his passion for film and his love for details to sell cars, beer and most importantly: burgers – such as BMW, Beck’s or McDonald's.
And because the world can never be beautiful enough, Trübi uses his spare time to design album covers for starving musicians or builds digital coughing soundboards to let off steam while telling everyone in earshot how much he loves chocolate and tea.
