BriefPeople in Ukraine don't take regular eye examinations. In fact, 69 per cent of Ukrainians prefer self-treatment to visiting an ophthalmologist, resulting in a 4 per cent annual growth of visual impairment. The fact that they spend at least an hour a day on Instagram doesn't help. But Luxoptica turned this problem into a solution. It reimagined Instagram stories as a new way of testing eyesight. Every seventh person who took the test detected a vision problem. And 6970 followers arranged an eye test with Luxoptica ophthalmologist.
