As a multi-disciplinary designer at Wunderman Thompson Amsterdam, Robert has been part of the journey for the past 8 years. Before that he was a Creative/Art Director at an agency in Italy where his strength in visual direction was embraced as he lead luxury brands through from strategy to concept to execution.
In 2001 he started his career with Ogilvy/Zoom Cape Town as a digital designer. From here he spread his wings and travelled to work in the UK, Italy and Holland. In 2012 he joined J Walter Thompson Amsterdam and has never looked back. Being a part of the team he has helped the agency to become Best Agency Of The Year in 2015 and many award winning projects.
Robert is fueled by being surrounded by creative talent and inspiring people. Driven by strategy and logic he builds brands and crafts communication with an intricate eye for detail and a passionate heart for photography. He challenges himself by combining his skills to find the most simple yet effective DNA for brands.
Constantly challenging himself his mantra is simple, ‘Perfecting simplicity’.
Passionate about intimate artistic & commercial experiences across design, film & photography, Robert has a diverse use of skills that enables him to move easily and understand all mediums. His ability to work with all creatives, adapt and have a clear vision of where and how to execute is what sets him apart from many centralised thinkers out there today.
