Djibril DRAME (Gadaay)

Executive Creative Producer and co-founder of the communication, film and art company Sabali Inc, Djibril Drame is a Senegalese visual artist based in Dakar after living in Los Angeles for years. His work strives to shed light on socially relevant and potentially controversial issues affecting our world today. He produced Xalé of Moussa Sene Absa which got pre-selected at the Oscars 2023. He was the artistic director and editor in chief for Mode Senegal magazine 2023. He is also the pioneer in graffiti documentation in Senegal. He has worked for the Senegalese government. Since his return from the US, he is fully focused on reinforcing the African youth with his initiative “Ateliers des Recalcitrants”.
