Today, it means I'll be on a call with clients in LA who want to speak to West Coast Latinos. Later, I’ll connect with Texas clients who want to engage people of all ethnicities. After a coffee break, I'll strategize with Seattle folks on a communication plan to reach consumers in Latin America.
Today is Tuesday.
And it’s been like this for over a decade now. Connecting dots for General market and Latino consumers alike, with brands like MLB, McDonald's, Walmart, Domino’s, Miller Lite, MARS, Heinz, Clorox, Starbucks, Texas Lottery, Amazon, and Lowe’s.
Winning at Cannes Lions, One Show and Clio with multicultural pieces that speak universally. Judging for four years in a row at SXSW Innovation Awards. Teaching students to love (and make) ads at Miami Ad School.
Before moving to the US, I worked as an ACD CW at Ogilvy México for brands such as Pfizer, AMEX, Land Rover, Jaguar, Duracell, P&G and Gandhi Bookstores.
And before that, I was writing and producing TV shows in Mexico City, where I also showed my photography in art galleries.
For 5 years I handled the Molson Coors (Miller Lite, Coors Light, High Life), Prime Video and Change The Ref accounts as Creative Director for Alma DDB.
I’m currently VP Creative Director at Deutsch LA for Walmart (and special multicultural projects).
