Why did you think it was important to join the PHNX jury this year?
It's important for me to not only be part of award shows with my projects but also support them and keep them alive by judging. Especially when it comes to the PHNX as award honoring creativity by prioritizing it over money making.
What do you think of our hybrid jury, featuring creatives but also strategists, clients and people from all corners of the industry?
I thinks different point of views are always important to make a piece of work stronger in the developing process. Therefore, I really appreciate that all the work pieces are also judged regarding different aspects.
What do you think of the idea of free entry until the shortlist stage?
Amazing! As I said before, it highlights what is really important: creativity.
How would you define the perfect PHNX Awards winner?
I really appreciate work that not only surprises me, but also touches me on an emotional level. To me, that's the key to make a difference.
What is having the biggest impact on creative trends at the moment?
I think it's AI - although I would appreciate work pieces that are focusing more on what makes us human and unique to take away people's fears of being overrun by AI.
Who would you nominate as your two or three “creatives of the year”?
I love the WWFs Climate realism case - as it deals with one of the most important topic nowadays in a very simple but straight to the point execution everyone understands immediately. The easiness is the key here.
