I am the founder of Merlin Studio from the Netherlands, that we like to describe as a Creative "Code Boutique."
At Merlin, our team focuses on crafting digital campaigns for agencies and immersive digital experiences, especially animated websites and WebXR products that use real-time 3D technology.
I started my journey in web technology around 2015 and gained significant experience at MediaMonks (now Monks), a global digital production company.
Those early experiences, where I often found myself in high-pressure situations, fueled my passion for animation and web standards. This eventually led me to co-found Merlin Studio in 2018.
At Merlin, I aim to push the boundaries of digital creativity. We’ve had the privilege of working on some exciting projects, like creating a WebAR experience for Dior and developing a digital platform for SKKY Partners, a venture founded by Kim Kardashian and Jay Sammons.
My goal is to position Merlin Studio as a leading creative tech boutique in the Netherlands and globally.
We currently use Figma, After Effects for design and motion. React (NextJS) or Svelte (SvelteKit), PostCSS or Tailwind, React Three Fiber or Threlte with ThreeJS, GSAP and Framer Motion for development.
Beyond my work, I am passionate about mental health and climate change. These causes are close to my heart and influence how I approach both my personal life and professional endeavors.
