About me
Sönke Kirchhof is Founder, CEO, Executive Producer and Creative Director of award-winning XR Studio INVR.SPACE GmbH. He studied Political Science at University of Hamburg and Film Production at Film University Babelsberg „Konrad Wolf", which he graduated with distinction. Sönke is also founder of reallifefilm international GmbH where he is involved in international coproductions (Feature Film & Documentaries, with strong focus on stereoscopic 3D and VFX).
Sönke has been working in XR, stereoscopic film, VFX and CGI postproduction as well as R&D in arts and technology for more than 20 years.
Sönke is highly engaged as speaker and lecturer at international festivals and institutions, lecturer in Universities all over the world and member in regional and international XR associations (Board Member EDFVR, XR Bavaria, Vice President XR4EU) to increase the visibility and strength of the XR industry. He is also member of various international Juries in many fields. Focusing on XR his Juror duties in 2024 included Silbersalz Festival, Makor Foundation, Stereopsia and many more.
