Our final group assignment was to produce a charity event, from start to finish.
My duties included liaising with the charity’s representatives and finalizing the contract
negotiations for the venue. I collaborated with my colleagues to organize and decorate the event
space, and create an art gallery space. I sourced performers/entertainment and assisted in creating the programme. I also directed the sound and lighting technician during the event.
Assisting in the execution and planning of events and trade shows; sourcing venues, suppliers, staff, volunteers and entertainment. Outreach initiatives for key events (sourcing and contacting leads, and securing community support). Researching and completing Brand and Competitive audits and preparing client reports/presentations. Additional Responsibilities included assisting the client services team when needed with various account coordination tasks.
