About me
Gary was born in Zimbabwe, grew up in Botswana and has lived most of his life in South Africa - but is a citizen of Australia. When people ask him where he's from, he says: "When a man and a lady love each other very much they give each other a special kind of hug?" He is a Capricorn, which means he's "patient", "responsible" and "conscientious", although he'd rather be "rich", "fluent in Klingon" and "deadly with ninja stars". In South Africa, he worked at TBWA Hunt Lascaris and Net#work BBDO before deciding to move to Canada to join Taxi Toronto. He won two silvers at this year's Clios has been in D&AD six of the last seven years.
