Why did you think it was important to join the PHNX jury this year?
There are so many awards nowadays, and it's important to have one like PHNX that is more inclusive when picking up your jurors, bringing different eyes and unseen winners.
What do you think of our hybrid jury, featuring creatives but also strategists, clients and people from all corners of the industry?
This corroborates my point about diversity. Our industry has changed and expanded. It is no longer confined to a room with creatives on one side and marketers on the other. It invades other departments, other specialties. Today, it demands a broader view.
What do you think of the idea of free entry until the shortlist stage?
This is amazing. Such movement gives small and new professionals the opportunity to show their work.
How would you define the perfect PHNX Awards winner?
A brave, scalable, impactful and unseen in major festivals idea.
What is having the biggest impact on creative trends at the moment?
I would say that humor is back. People are tired, stressed. And humor is the perfect way to talk about serious stuff.
Who would you nominate as your two or three “creatives of the year”?
Leo Chiesi (MRM Santiago)
Tom Beckman (Weber Shandwick)
